1. Acceptance and eligibility
By accessing or using resumeNivo, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it. You must be legally capable of entering this agreement and meet any minimum age required in your location.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of account information, maintaining the security of your sign-in method, and activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You may not share access in a way that bypasses service limits or impersonate another person.
3. The service
resumeNivo provides tools for preparing resumes, using templates, maintaining career-profile information, and comparing resume content with job descriptions. We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we do not promise that every feature will always remain available or free.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of resume content, job descriptions, images, and other material you submit. You grant resumeNivo a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, format, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that it is accurate and lawful.
5. ATS analysis and career information
ATS scores, keyword matches, recommendations, templates, and other guidance are automated informational tools. Results can differ from an employer’s systems and hiring practices. resumeNivo does not guarantee interviews, rankings, employment, application outcomes, or that a resume will be accepted by every system. You remain responsible for reviewing submissions and employment decisions.
6. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use the service unlawfully, fraudulently, or to violate another person’s rights.
- Upload malware, harmful code, unlawfully obtained personal data, or content you do not have permission to use.
- Probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, scrape, or bypass security or access controls except where applicable law expressly permits.
- Use automated means to create accounts or access the service without our written permission.
- Misrepresent generated or edited information, impersonate others, or use the service to facilitate discrimination or deceptive hiring practices.
7. Our intellectual property
The service, software, visual design, templates, branding, and related materials are owned by resumeNivo or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose; they do not transfer ownership of the service to you.
8. Third-party services
The service may depend on or link to third-party authentication, hosting, or other services. Their own terms and privacy policies govern their services, and resumeNivo is not responsible for third-party products outside our control.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address violations, security risks, legal requirements, nonpayment for any future paid service, or harm to users or the platform. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, preservation of every file, or any employment outcome. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, resumeNivo and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, opportunities, data, or goodwill arising from use of the service. Any aggregate liability will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the service during the previous 12 months or USD 100. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
12. Changes and general terms
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and changing the effective date. Material changes may receive additional notice. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of operating or reorganizing the service.
